baking and shoveling, shoveling and baking.
(the two things that have consumed my day)
momma and i hit the kitchen this afternoon
(since we were/are snowed in)
at the end of the day, here's what we have to show for ourselves:
sugar cookies (of course)
peppermint patties
cinnamon rolls
cranberry-apple chutney
on the other side of things and between food prep,
i shoveled our drive with daddy
good times had by all.

I love baking and cooking at the holidays. It looks like you are having so much fun! And you get to have snow. How awesome is that? Are you in Denver? I just saw on the news that they got two feet of snow. Wow. Hope you are having a wonderful time with your family.
the count this a.m. is 27 inches. i just measures. and it's still snowing. the only bummer is that my bros are working up at Vail (ski resort about 2 hours away) and were supposed to come home friday. don't know if they will make it back. otherwise, having a GREAT time!
